Chav-friendly sofa sellers Land of Leather have today announced the suspension of their shares pending an upcoming announcement on the future of the company.
A spokesman for the loss-making company said, "We are suspending trading for a period of 12 months, after which our shares will be available at half-price! Yes, half price! Double discount! You can order now, and benefit from 12-months interest and dividend-free!"
He added, "Buy now, and we'll throw in a free disfiguring rash at no extra cost!"
The announcement is expected to be the 37th 'Closing-Down Sale' for the retailer in the last two years.

And Paul Simon isn't going to be hugely popular with Diamonds on the Soles of his Shoes, either.
Land of Leather have previous with thsi sort of thing, or at least their directors do (cf World of Leather)...opting for administration rather than pay creditors.
There will soon be another Land/World/Solar System of Leather coming to an out of town strip mall near you.
