Jacko Announces New Contract with O2 Arena

Veteran entertainer Michael Jackson has announced a new two-year contract with the O2 Arena, squashing speculation he was to work in Las Vegas or Dubai.

In what has been announced as a 'major coup' for the venue, Jackson, 50, will take on the role of Children's Party Co-Ordinator at the O2.

No details have been released as yet, but Jackson, who had a string of slumber parties at his Neverland ranch in the 1980s and 1990s, is expected to introduce radical new events including his favourite games 'Don't Stop Till I've Had Enough' and, of course, 'Bedtime for Bubbles'. Reports the arena is stockpiling 'Jesus Juice' for Jackson's little friends remain unconfirmed.

The announcement of the contract is a major boost for the O2, as it had been expected that Jackson would take on the role of Child Protection Officer for the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas. He will also have responsibility for hiring his own support staff, and it is believed that Jonathan King is to be interviewed by Jackson shortly.

In a separate development, the O2 have also announced the appointment of Gary Glitter as a joint Creche Manager and Far-East Liaison Officer. Mr Glitter welcomed the position, saying it combined two of his favourite activities.
