So well done to Karen Lumley MP and her team, and celebrate the unlamented departure of Jacqboots Smith in song.
It's a victory, joy we can't contain,
Won't be paying for her porn flicks again,
As she's gone, gone, gone, gone, Jacqui's gone,
And we don't care, don't care, don't care,
Where she's gone gone gone gone, Jacqui's gone.
On Election night, Redditch got it right,
Kicked that trougher out to our great delight,
As she's gone, gone, gone, gone, Jacqui's gone,
And we don't care, don't care, don't care,
Where she's gone gone gone gone, Jacqui's gone.
Ooh yes, she tried to claim for,
Every little thing that she could see,
Ooh, but now she's voted out,
Now she has to face reality
On Election night, Redditch got it right,
Kicked that trougher out to our great delight,
As she's gone, gone, gone, gone, Jacqui's gone,
And we don't care, don't care, don't care,
Where she's gone gone gone gone, Jacqui's gone.
It's a victory, joy we can't contain,
Won't be paying for her porn flicks again,
As she's gone, gone, gone, gone, Jacqui's gone,
And we don't care, don't care, don't care,
Where she's gone gone gone gone, Jacqui's gone.
Gone, gone, gone, gone, Jacqui's gone,
And we don't care, don't care, don't care,
Where she's gone gone gone gone, Jacqui's gone.

The bigger, and real, problem with Jacqui Smith was that she claimed (IIRC) that a spare bedroom in her sister's house was her main home, and then got the full allowances for her 'second' home in her constituency. Thus she did not incur additional expenses, necessary for her job as MP, anywhere near the amount she actually claimed and received.
Best regards
I'm well aware of that, Nigel - but couldn't make lyrics about it scan to my satisfaction. :-)
D
Fine work, sir!
I agree, it's a great shame you can't add Balls to your repertoire - I was looking forward to that.
