Turned out he was just another snakeoil salesman with an overly ambitious and grasping spouse.

Remember Obama is a politician and he will do what all politicans do, serve his own self interests. US politics is not like ours, Theirs is built on cold hard cash and favours to and from donors. He might be viewed as the messiah now, but in the end even Jesus was nail to a plank of wood and left to die.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19717539.post-22295558190817733012009-01-21T07:31:00.000+00:002009-01-21T07:31:00.000+00:00I'm disappointed by his speeches. They are policy ...I'm disappointed by his speeches. They are policy light, aspiration heavy and not terribly well written. Actually I'm being generous. They are very badly written. I realise that to contrast fiction with fact is not always a good device, but the truth is that any of the junior staffers in The West Wing could write better prose than Obama has been given to work with so far.

Yet the media has chosen to tell us his speeches are well written. Really? Well I can see right through that set of this Emperor's new clothes.Brennighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10553332352189636358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19717539.post-39109532819893085732009-01-21T01:01:00.000+00:002009-01-21T01:01:00.000+00:00I knew Matt Santos could do it!Well, that's the en...I knew Matt Santos could do it!
Well, that's the end of the Daley show.

Try your quality word skills at adding a few more verses in the comment to our Raven piece.

Has Aretha stopped singing yet?Bill Quango MPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14861116614665461655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19717539.post-64548058614195302232009-01-20T21:00:00.000+00:002009-01-20T21:00:00.000+00:00The weight of expectation sits with us. Now we have to get ourselves out.

Happily we seem able to cheer together and rally behind one flag. Imagine if we couldn't get this step right!

So from a mess we have taken the hardest step - to imagine the impossibly possible - that we might step forward together. We have given ourselves a chance?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
